He has seen the face of hell! Fearless photographer journeys into heart of 2,000-degree active volcano

A fearless New Zealand photographer journeyed into the mouth of a volcano in the South Pacific in order to get an once-in-a-lifetime look at its roiling ocean of fire.
Geoff Mackley had spent 15 years trying to get near the hellish core of the Marum volcano in Vanuatu, a republic of islands some 1,000 miles east of Australia.
