The slovenly 'Terminator' actor was denied entry to Atlanta's Vortex bar and grill for failing to show ID and for being too intoxicated, according to reports. He then allegedly warned the bouncer he was a DEA agent, pushing him down twice before he was pepper-sprayed. The charges have since been dropped.
Sam Worthington’s latest role as a Drug Enforcement Administration special agent in new flick “Ten” may have gone a little too far over the weekend.
The hunky “Avatar” actor got into a tussle with a bouncer at Vortex bar and grill in Atlanta late Saturday night after he was denied entrance into the venue -- first for refusing to show identification and then for being too intoxicated, TMZ reports.
According to the bouncer, Jerry Link, Worthington approached him in a dirty hoodie, carrying a bundle of clothes. The actor was reportedly so unkempt and drunk that onlookers thought he was a homeless man.
When Link denied the 36-year-old actor entrance, TMZ reports, Worthington yelled, "I'm a DEA agent! You f--ked up now!"
Worthington then reportedly pushed him down twice, so Link pepper-sprayed the unruly actor.
Slapped with charges of disorderly conduct, the belligerent actor was handcuffed and arrested as soon as the police arrived.
But the charges were just as quickly dropped Monday because Link failed to show up in court.
According to TMZ, Link said that no one ever told him he needed to show up in court and that he was unaware Worthington was a Hollywood actor, having never seen either “Avatar” or “Terminator.”
