A high profile Boko Haram member, who is an officer of Nigeria’s Immigration Services, Ahmed Grema Mohammed, has named some security personnel among those carrying out terrorist attacks in the country. His confession came after he was arrested by the men of the Joint Task Force (JTF) in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
Fred Nuamah Thrown Out Of His Home
A popular and ace movie producer has been thrown out of his residence at Community 19, Lashibi, by his land lady whom he has been playing hide and seek with for some time now. Fred Nuamah, who according to information has refused to move out of the house though his term of occupancy had elapsed a year ago, did not want to pay his land lady, a situation which necessitated his ejection.
Fred was ejected on Friday at about 6:30am while he looked on helplessly and in total shock. His mattress, chairs, tables, drinking glasses and other belongings were thrown outside by personnel from the Osu District Court, including a police officer.
Information gathered by Daily Guide indicates that the landlady had futilely chased him for a whole year. Fred had managed to avoid her by parking his unregistered vehicle in front of his next door neigbour’s house to avoid being noticed. Fred’s house was also alleged to have been always under lock and key, even if he was at home, thus creating the impression he was not at home. His house was said to have housed several celebrities including Tonto Dike, John Dumelo, Kwesi Pee, who was virtually living with him in the house and popular TV host Naa Dede, who happens to be the one who helped him move his belongings into the house.

Grandmother Arrested With 1.7Kg Of Cocaine In Lagos
A 65-year old grandmother, who is also a mother of six, was on Wednesday arrested for alleged drug trafficking, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, said Thursday.NDLEA said the suspect, Hassan Fatimat Abike, also known as Chika Okoye, was to board a British Airways plane at the Murtala Muhammed international airport in Lagos, southwest Nigeria, when she was arrested with substances suspected to be cocaine.
“Every arrangement appeared to have been made for a 65-year old grandmother to smuggle 1.740kg of cocaine into London in herbal syrup,” said Mitchell Ofoyeju, NDLEA Head of Public Affairs.
“It was not her fist time of going to London and the drug was cleverly packed to avoid detection. It was packed in balloons and inserted in ten plastic containers of herbal syrup,” Ofoyeju said.
He quoted the Airport Commander, Mr. Hamza Umar, as saying that the suspect had two international passports that bear Hassan Fatimat Abike.
Her passport numbers, he said, are A03348648 and A3771781A.

End Of Road For Lagos robberies
Three armed robbery suspects-Uche Okeagbu, Emmanuel Ezeani and Chinonso Nwuangwu-have been arrested by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos, in connection with the September 9, 2012 robberies in the state, which left three policemen and a civilian dead.
The suspects were arrested at their Ajangbadi hideout on September 23 following a tip-off.

Reports say that popular Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor otherwise known as Mama G is in a legal battle with her son, Chuka. The actress was reported to have taken Chuka to court to stop him from claiming his father’s inheritance as the Igbo tradition demand of him as a first son.
Trouble started when against his will, Mama G forced one lady named Ada on Chuka after Mama G made him dump his former girlfriend, Joy who Mama G said wasn’t good for him. When Mama G felt Ada was growing wings, after both Chuka and Ada falling in love with each other years after, she called Chuka to end his relationship with her, a move he kicked against.
This led to a tug of war between mother and son as Mama G was bent on her wish done.Matter was said to become worse when Mama G realised that Ada was pregnant for Chuka. Mama G reportedly threatened to deal with Ada but both lovebirds have solidified their union by going to court to marry. She was said to have taken the matter to some family members but lost to her son.
She also lost in the customary court some weeks ago where she sought court’s injunction to deny Chuka from claiming some of his father’s properties as the first son. Mama G’s husband died some years ago. Mama G’s second and favourite son, Nduka is set to wed later this month. She has sworn to make it one of the biggest in town.
